Trifecta of Love

I am writer and a reasonably articulate person who is aware of the fallibility and ambiguity of words. There is no point, not enough words to convince anyone, nor do I have an insistent urge to change anyone else’s beliefs. However, I do have a strong set of core beliefs, and a urge to share it with anyone who is interested. So here is my manifesto.

Kindness.

To yourself and to others. It should guide everything you do.

I’m not the first person to say it. I didn’t say it best. Jesus said it was the most important thing, but he said it a little differently. “Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.” I think if you love God you will be kind to everyone and not just people who think like you do.

Kindness is my religion. And like all religious folks, I have ideas that I fail to live up to, but I keep trying. And I love myself, which Jesus included in his trifecta of love.
